Call came in the day after Christmas (!) -- no message was left even though call went to voicemail. Never heard of this company before, and when I looked them up? This is NOT the # on their website. And I don't need a mortgage loan, AND I'm on both the Federal and PA DNC lists.... DO NOT PICK UP IF YOU GET A CALL FROM ANYONE WHERE YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NAME & #!
Hangup call from this number (just like similar ones with the same caller ID where only the last 4 digits were different each time). Only THIS time? One hit on Google -- a complaint site like this one where several people had reported the # already! So, clearly some sort of spam....
Caller ID just said "LANCASTER PA" (the space between the city and state info is generally a red flag that it's some sort of spam or robocall), and there didn't appear to be any legitimate hits for the # when I looked it up on Google.
Call came in right at 5 PM ET. Caller ID just said "FINLEYVILLE PA". Didn't recognize the number and caller did NOT leave a message. But the number was ALREADY flagged as being some sort of health insurance scam call on a site like this one when I did an online search!
I also got a scam email on 16-dec-2024 requesting money via PayPal ("Phaz1 Inc. sent you an invoice for $999.99 USD").
The email said, "Note from seller
Fraud Alert: Didn't make this order? Call at 1-888-513-7258"
Caller ID just said "CHESTER PA" (with the space pushing the city & state info to the edges of the screen). NO message was left. And there were NO hits for the # on Google -- just a bunch of partial hits for some medical center.... Guessing spam.
Guessing some sort of scam. Yet Another™ hangup call from "CARNEGIE PA" (same area code & exchange, just the last four digits being different; and same behavior -- NO message left....
This place called me from a cell phone asking about my car and claiming they were from a vehicle warranty department. They never identified themselves but knew my name. When I confirmed that I didn't have the car in question, they asked if there were any other cars in the house. I said "No" and was immediately hung up on. Now I get a text from this number saying "Hello (myself), it's Flex Auto Protection Center. The mechanical coverage for your vehicle needs a review. Contact us at +18885507011 for more info. Text STOP to Opt-Out.
Spam call from one of those fake vehicle department scams. A woman who happened to have an Asian accent said my name and I confirmed it. She asked if I "still had my 2018 car" and I said "Nope." She said, "let me update my records do you have another car?" I said "nope" and she immediately hung up. I typically don't answer these calls but it got past my call blocker, so I thought it was a doctor.
Apparently not the FIRST person to get a call from this # -- when I looked it up online, the THREE results on Google were ALL report sites flagging this as spam! And the reports dated back a couple of MONTHS as well....
Hangup call from "MORRIS PA" from a number that doesn't seem to exist except on some bogus "Blogger.com site, complete with bogus names like "Adline Sierk" they tell their owners (Google) are on it....
