1647 12.11.2023 Hangup from valid BANDWIDTH.COM VOIP number near PARKER, AZ. Call blocked by Verizon/Youmail as Potential Spam/Spam. SpyDialed and called back with a different number; No Answer.
Pretending to be FBI agent. Scheme is ---you have an outstanding warrant. They can spook the phone number of both the FBI and the Local sheriff Offices.
I received scam texts from this number today requesting gift cards be sent confidentially for cancer patient. Posed as my priest adamant about replying text only do t call back “too busy”
Possibly a spoofed number. The owner of the cell MAY be an innocent victim. Sending texts pretending to be from Truist bank with a link (which should NOT be trusted or used.)
No message left by "GIRARDSVILLE PA" (yeah, that's how it came up on the caller ID). Didn't recognize # and no legit results for it on Google, either.... Suspect spam....
No message left from "CATASAQUA PA" (where's that?) when call went to voicemail. Not much useful info on Google either for #. Suspect spam but can't prove it....
This shows up as a landline, which is NOT possible since I received a TEXT, it has to be a VoIP or cell number since landlines in fact cannot send text messages! This appears to be some kind of scammer pretending to be someone I know, but I do not know the number and any friend of mine would have known I wouldn't respond to the format of the text.
Did not open- most likely SPAM!
THE NUMBER COMES FROM ORILLIA
