Caller with Asian accent said her name is Sophie and she was calling from Health and Wellness to offer me free medical genetic testing which is part of my medical coverage. Second time Sophie has tried this, but with a different number. The 924 exchange is also used by UVA Health Systems which is why I thought it was legitimate. Obviously phishing call.
Sending me to sites that charge is ridiculous and not very unhelpful at all, cheap for you and slightly unscrupulous. What ever happened to the paper phone books that came free?

I called anonymously to a repeated recording: Your call is very important to us please stay on the line and you will be transferred to the next available agent, after 6 minutes the call ended. I called again and Jim answered from Enhance Openings. Last year I told them to stop calling.
No message left -- caller hung up after 4 rings. Caller ID just said "MCKEESPORT PA". When I looked the # up? Only one non-bogus hit, and that was a site like this one with a report that it was a solar power scam (and that was within MINUTES of the call coming in!).
This account is used by a fake account on Facebook that is targeting senior citizens to promote a fraudulent crypto scam and stealing a lot of money in the process

I got a call yesterday morning on my cell from a foreigner named Davis Jefferson in Los Molinos, Ca. He wanted to send me a $150,000 coupon from 2017. He sent a picture of it in text with my full name on it. I blocked his number because he called 3 times plus the text with the picture of coupon made to look like a check. He knew my name, address and google mail account. Creepy.
Unbelievably annoying. This number has called 20+ times in the past 3 months at all hours of day and night without ever leaving a message. Even though I've added the number to my blocked calls list, they still persist.
I answered the phone with a hello, paused, then another hello. Then a man said hello. I waited. He said, "Are you still there?" I said yeah. Then he hung up.
