this number keeps coming up on the caller ID on my cell phone. I have missed the call every time. Today I tried calling back and got a "This is not a working number" message. On the White pages reverse look-up there are a lot of messages from others saying it's a spanish speaking money solicitation call. It's obviously someone up to no good since you can't even call them back to tell them to take you off their call list.
I have recieved 2 calls from this number, and caller ID says US Government, but the US Government says this is NOT one of their numbers. WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS AT THIS NUMBER!!
Received six calls within a 3 hour span from this number. They left a message saying they were Daniel Martin from the Internal Revenue Service and to not ignore this message. Said to call the number back as it is the IRS Hotline to discuss a discrepancy in my tax return. Please be aware this is phishing scam as the IRS always sends an official notice through the mail and does not call. Plus this is a cell number in California. The IRS help line is a toll free call.
This company called my home phone saying I owe a company that I never heard of. They had the last four or my social previous address and previous employer info. They said they were turning me in for fraud if I didn't come up with 350 in 2 hours. This has to be fraud?
I am repeatedly getting calls from this number asking for a Soloman. I have repeatedly told them no Soloman is at this number. They won't stop calling.
An individual called my cell phone from this number telling me I was listed as a reference for one of my former co-workers and left a "reference number" and instructed me to return the call to a 1-888 number. My former co-worker confirmed that he did not use me for a reference, nor has he applied for work anywhere in over 5 years because he is an active duty soldier. The background sounded like it was coming from a busy place with a lot of noise in the background-like a call center. It doesn't make sense, if this was a ligitimate reference search they would not ask me to return the call to a 1-888 number and provide me with a "reference number".
This is supposedly a mortgage company calling to get me to refinance. I have asked them numerous times to stop calling me, as I am not interested. They typically just rudely hang up on me as soon as I start asking to be removed from their phone list. They obviously do not remove me from their list and they refuse to stop calling. In fact, they have called me 4 times just in the past week!
1/13/14: They called seven times in a little more than an hour. I don't know this no., and never answered - filed it under 'spam' with a silent ring tone.
"Window Care Support" Agent called alerting me of a hacker threat to my PC. Trying to get me to type in a code. SCAM! Hang up if anyone calls you about hackers trying to get into your computer. They are the hackers!
Keeps calling with a message to lower my credit card intrest rate. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling. They are offering a service I do not want nor need. Majority of the times if I wait for a person, that person hangs up when I ask to be removed from their list. So how do I get them to stop calling?&%$$!!
Not sure how they got my number but claimed to be calling from Education First in helping me with my interest to go back to college. I graduated from college more than 20 years ago. As soon as I said I graduated from college a long time ago, they hung up quickly. They are phishing numbers and people to scam.
hangs up hoping u will call back and incur big charges
