This is a call from Kohl's corporation. They have several numbers that are disguised 800 numbers. I suppose they think people will answer if they think it is an actual person. I am not behind on my payments so really resent the intrusion. Because of these unsolicited calls I am cancelling my Kohl's credit card and will not shop at Kohl's in the future. They have cheaply made merchandise anyway.
Scam number. The guys says he is from the "legal department of the Department of Treasury". Leaves messages on my phone. Total scam-he can barely say his title.
This number is a scam saying they are the IRS and that you are being sued. The IRS only has 800 numbers and this guy speak middle eastern and said that they are scamming people just ignore this call if you get it.
Received a call, did not answer. no message was left by the caller. cannot find out who is making the call. It appears to originate from Kissimmee, FL.
Claims to be with the IRS leaving threatening messages. If you return the call they refuse to give their badge no. which they are required to do. Or, you get a foreign accented recorded message stating there is no one here to take your call. (The IRS doesn't make phone calls-everything done by mail)
They called me for the 4th time at 7:30 this morning Have reported to DA, and local Tax Advocate office as well as fraud division.
This appears to be a collection company, but if you call them back and ask what the name of the company is, they just hang up on you, without identifying who they are or who they are looking for, so they can't be legitimate.
Pretended to be Chief Criminal Investigator for IRS and calling from Washington, DC. stating this was final notice to collect error in tax from audit of 2008-2013 completed Aug of 2014. Owed balance of $1986.72. Settle in court or out. Had the authority to place lien on properties and freeze all money accounts. Serving me with warranty tomorrow at my address. Will provide all paperwork to show debt and account code for transfer of amount owed or be arrested for defrauding the government. I DID NOT give any personal information without proof of the debt.

Got a call from this number stating that I was to receive 9000.00 from the government to use anyway that I wished. They spoke in a foreign accent like from india. They then started asking for my birthdate and social number. I refused to give it and they continued to press that I would receive 9000.00 from the government. Thought you should know
Calls are a pre-recorded message offering seniors "free" medic alerts and $1,000 off groceries. There is no company name attached. It appears to be a scam to collect personal identifying information and/or money from seniors.
