These folks are using job postings of craislist. Do not give your info to anyone not having a company name or direct phone contact to set up an appointment for an interview.
This number keeps calling me. The number is weird. 6699, 314-6699, 1-6699. It calls my hubbys number also. I blocked it but feels very strange. Never days a word.
I asked if they were volunteers or if they were paid by the Firefighters Union to make calls. He said they were a marketing company contracted to provide this service. So I said "well, it they can afford to hire you, they can afford to do without my contribution".
The robot responded by pausing and then saying "so, how much can I put you down for?" When I asked "you're kidding, right?" the robot said something like "no". Then I asked about connection problems and he said something about maybe his headset wasn't working well, and offered to call me back at a better time. I said "I think I'd like you to take me off your list" and there was a long pause before I hung up.
Slightly slurred sounding woman called, couldn't understand words some, sounded like she said Amy but sounded like same-ie instead. Then she went on to say she's calling about my free cruise for doing a survey. Sounded like she said the company was called Freeway Promotions. Of course it's all a scam. Freeway Promotions is a DJ & Disco over in the United Kingdom
Harassing and a stalker. Also Google his name and a sex offender with same name in WA State comes up, he's non compliant which means no address for him. IF is same guy. Be careful
11-25-2015 @ 12:08 PM, 1-573-539-1048 (# repeated as name) I answered phone after second ring, but no one would talk. They hung up without saying anything. Internet search shows call came from a landline in Versailles, Missouri. May have been a wrong number?
I had a very unpleasant phone call just before a meeting and it took me a while to figure out it was an intent at Tax Fraud . The unpleasant person was a lady with a bad Asian accent I would say, and she said she is from the IRS. She stated that there was a mistake in my tax statement, and I owe $6,990 to IRS. She threatened that she will send out police and put me in jail. She had my home address correct. Since I did not give here any credit card # she started to be even more aggressive and just drove my blood pressure up until I just hung up the phone.
I am receiving credit card charges from this number and no business name is attached. Further, when I tried to call it, it said the number was not valid. I currently have the fraud team on it from my bank.
