Called around 12:25PM and hung up without leaving a message. More than likely a scam or spam call, since almost every hangup call is. It's a local number, but the scammers have been using local area codes for several years now.
Received an automated call from “Wells Fargo fraud department “ on 10/20/23 regarding a $500 purchase attempt. Part of the call script said that the attempt was declined and that Wells Fargo would be deactivating our card and sending a replacement in the mail. If we had questions we could call them back. We independently called a local Wells Fargo bank in our neighborhood this morning and they confirmed that this number did not belong to them and there was no suspicious activity on our account.
Caller stated he was from Lennox Air and that they always do an annual heating/ac maintenance. And that they had a special for $60 when it's usually $100. We have never done business with Lennox Air. I caught the caller whispering to someone when I returned to the phone. Suspicious behavior.
