The caller leaves a message saying they are from the "Billing Department" and I need to call them back. They call repeatedly without leaving a name, name of a company, or any other information.
Getting very upset, this number has called me several times and each time I answer, hangs up. I called it back and said was a text voice mail subscriber. Received hateful text message stating, "Damn, I got better things to do than play on the Damn phone if you don't mind"......
Recording claims that my Social Security number has been frozen because of improper use by unknown entities. Scam. I have not received any hard copy mail stating this.

asked us to send bail money for friend supposedly arrested for DUI in Ohio. We called him at his home in town--he never was in Ohio. Told us to send cash, sealed in a magazine, in a box, from FedEx. Very sophisticated--linked us to our friend; caller posing as friend had a very similar voice; gave us a residential address to send the money to. BEWARE!!!!s
I bought a jacket from another country and paid through Western Union. This number called, claiming to be the Office of Homeland Security, to check on my sending the money. (which I am fine with if it really is them) The man calling had such a thick foreign accent that I had difficulty understanding him and it made me uncomfortable, and trying to verify the number by calling DHS is impossible.
