The caller said they are the Tax Relief and they want to help me to pay off my outstanding tax. The lady with an accent didn’t want to disclose the company name, but said they are a Tax Agency and she did not have a website address. She said, you can trust me and I said before I give any personal information I want to know how you got my name and number and how she may know I have outstanding tax due? Then she said they are affiliated with the IRS. Because I was drilling her questions she hung up. I tried to call back this number and the call drops.
Scam call telling me about cancellation on my account and to take action to avoid cancellation of an order. I hung up since I haven't placed any orders. An hour later, received same call from a different area code and number. 608-748-5054
Caller asked if this was Barry, and I said it was, and they hung up. Upon call back, the message said that the party could not be reached at this time.
