Claimed to be my Windows technician, called him on it, my tech has passcode to identify themselves when calling as I have been scammed by so-called MS reps.
Lost my dog and someone from this number tried to make me send them a Google verification number. Clearly they are trying to do something such as forward my calls or texts to another number for them to establish an account under my real telephone number.
This caller from Donora, PA, combined with 724-278-5601 (Also from Donora, PA) blew up my phone with one call every hour for nearly eight hours straight. Listed as potential spam, so I never answered it.
At first its automated and then you get some guy that sounds like he's overseas. Claims that they can get your credit card debt eliminated because of a "federal law" about interest rates. Keeps the act up, asked what information he will need he then tells me that he will need personal information: name, address, date of birth, social security number and then wants credit card numbers. I've told these people to remove my number and they hang up, I've told them to quit calling and they hang up, I've used a air horn on them and this last time I told them I didn't have credit cards (which I don't) and they hung up. I've called my cellphone provider and had to put a scam shield on our phones. I'm going to file a complaint with the Attorney General of the state of Indiana and I'm going to contact the feds as they are using cellphones.
