Claimed to be a collection agency. Did not advise that they were "a debt collector attempting to collect a debt". Stated I had a delinquent medical bill from 2017, however no correspondence from ANY agency up until this phone call. Threatened to file a lawsuit against me if I did not pay the alleged debt. Refused to send me any type of description of the debt, would only provide name of the hospital and "date of delinquency".
They called twice today within 15 minutes time frame, saying they were from the California Financial Hardship Loans Center to help me with a loan or grant of $36k...lmao
