This person has called and said they were the IRS and wanted my SSN. I would not provide and they said I would be arrested. Once they figured I would not comply they hung up on me. I had called them back numerous times before they would answer again. The scary thing is that they knew my address. This person is a male with a middle eastern accent. I had kept calling to try to get more info and they kept insisting on my SSN.

Just called me with a pre recorded message saying it was the IRS and she was agent Julie Smith and I needed to call back and not to ignore the message.

Caller claim she was IRS and don't need to disregard this call.for me to call back before she takes action.when you call back goes to Voicemail.

We just received a similar call with a recorded message from "officer Julie Smith of the Internal Revenue Service". "She" gave this phone number to return call to and said to return the call before action was taken against us.
